The spare suggestive forms are eloquent in their absence of color
and clear definition, particularly when addressing the qualities
of fragility and resilience, penetration and barrier. Collage creates
a hard edge of surface change that is an interesting and significant
element in the work. In the context of this work the addition of
paper, fabric or metal staples introduces a quiet drama.
