My work is sometimes dark yet whimsical - often with a political narrativ.
I have been a working artist for the past 30 years focusing on documentary film making. I began my career in the Newsreel Film Collective of the anti-Vietnam War movement at the age of 20 and has since produced and directed over 20 documentaries. More recently, I have returned to painting – my first love. My new work is a combination of printing, clay and oil paintings. The commonality between my paintings and film work is that they are portraits and short stories about everyday people.
