Garage Gallery
SURFACE
Garage Gallery will exhibit the work of nine
N Y artists in an exhibition
of
installed sculpture and mural paintings entitled "Surface".
Although the work of the participating artists is quite different
from each
other’s, they all create very contemporary work. In this show
the artists will
apply the work directly to the walls and floors of the gallery,
actually
incorporating the work into the architecture itself. These environmental
works
become symbolic of the larger structure.
