Mascha Oehlmann

I paint colors of life. Painting is a result of introspection as well as observation of life. Each experience, each facet of life flow into the picture. Coming from a biracial background, I experience the importance of nurturing both cultures as part of self discovery. Finding ones identity is the strongest foundation for life. My works depict that journey and the impact of lack of it.

Mascha Oehlmann studied Graphic Design in Berlin, Germany at Lette-Verein (School for Graphic Design, Photography and Fashion Design) after pursuing an educational year in Fine Arts in Paris, France at the Atelier Corlin.
