I am a painter who works from the emotional side of womanhood.
A self-taught, Harlem-born artist, I like to manifest her gut
feelings of happiness, sadness, joyous release of pain into
my paintings. I
incorporate into my work strong primary colors, such as a vibrant
reds or a cool blue to convey the mood or the feelings. I like
to focus on one person, one figure, one face at a time. It only takes
one for a simple message to be seen and heard. |
