|
Debora is a quilter. Working with a variety of fabrics, she
creates dynamic,
vibrant works of art. Recently she has been experimenting with
African prints
and a technique called string piecing. Traditional quilt patterns:
("Log
cabin", "Tumbler", "9-Patch", "Kansas
Dugout" and "Pyramid") take on a whole new
look when they are created using the intense colors and dynamic
shapes found in
these fabrics. Each quilt is a one-of-a-kind wall hanging,
which is pieced
and quilted by machine.
