Transgressions, migrations, transmutations, color, light, form speak through paint, fabric, interweaving of found objects, graphite and silver point marks on paper, and multi-layered digital images. The work varies from 3x5 inch drawings of crazy creatures on paper to full room multi-media installations. Items in the news, family dynamics, psychological/mythological narratives ignite the genesis of my image making. A radio report migrates from the outer world to an inner contemplation arousing my psyche which then transmutes the transgression into an image. The experience becomes a collage, a meeting that stirs me and through creative action I sustain myself as a person and as an artist.
