My artistic process involves a distillation of sensory, emotional, intellectual and spiritual life experiences into images that explore the human form and its expressive power. Figuration is the foundation of all of my work. Through the abstraction and stylization of figurative elements, I aim to transform the image from the literal to the symbolic. My goal is to maximize the potential unlocked by merging content and form, investigating how this process can effect and alter the image in unique and eventually controllable ways.
