Clinton Hill Art Gallery opened its new space in 2004. It is located several blocks south of Clinton Hill Simply Art & Framing Gallery. In December 2004, Clinton Hill Art Gallery became the first street-level fine art gallery to open to the public in the Fort Greene Clinton Hill neighborhood. The new space was designed to promote original paintings and sculptures by Brooklyn-based artists. The Clinton Hill Art Gallery provides space for consignment art sales, art exhibits, special events and gallery space rental options. Its business mission is to sell original art for urban spaces in a convenient and less formal gallery environment. The Gallery features approximately 15 various contemporary paintings by mid-career Brooklyn-based artists. Once a year an art professional is invited to curate the Gallery’s annual Anniversary Exhibit in December.
On from April 18 to May 31 and open during the SONYA Studio Stroll, will be “Phaces in Faith”, a solo exhibtion of figurative works in oil by Tod Mason. All are welcome to join us for the Meet the Artist on Sunday, May 18th, from 2pm to 4pm.
